Wow. Just when you thought the netbook craze was running out of steam, Asus came out with a new model which houses the entire guts of a netbook within a keyboard. Not only that, it even comes with a 5" LCD screen to it's right, in case you don't have a monitor to plug it into!!!
It's going through final prototyping and is definitely going to production.
Reminds me of how fashion ideas of the past are recycled and are made "hot" again. Doesn't this remind you of the Commodore 64 and Atari ST?

The main different from the old Atari 800 and C64 would be a hard drive.
I'd use it on my TV in 40/60 column mode like I did on the old machines. 40 col is readable across the room, if not 30 col. :)
